Week: 20 - 24 Feb 2023
Throughline: Beauty Creating: Learners engage in beautiful work that enriches the world and reflects God's heart for diversity, complexity and creativity.
Students engaged in different activities where they learned that God is the creator of all color. God created things that are orange like the oranges and He created bears that are brown. He gave the ability to man to make thing using colors. Students learned how yo form number 7, using colorful pipecleaners. The learned the letter Cc for the word color and other things God created.
On Tuesday February 28th, students brought their cement pot. They used different color since the whole month they were learning about the different colors God created. Students painted the cement pott. Students know God is our Beauty Creator.
Students enjoyed coloring.
At the end of the morning, when they went home, they had to share their cement pot to a relative or neighbor. They want other know that God is the Beauty Creator of all colors.
Community Builders: learners build communities of grace and purpose, making space for the belonging of other.
As the month of stimulation goes by, we as a preschool we are build community. Our parents are being involved in various activities to build relationships with others at the preschool. We had Arts & craft day and also show & tell day.

Unit Title: We can enjoy God’s Creation – the Animals
Unit Theme: Animals
Deep Hope: Is to invite, guide and prepare my students to delight themselves in God’s story.
Storyline: Step, live and enjoy God’s Story
Throughline: Earth Keeper: Learners steward, locally and globally, all God has created by pursuing and practicing new ways to tend and care for his creation.
FLEX: Getting food dog, students will go for a walk and will feed the dogs and will give dog food to a few neighbour that owns a dog. They will care and appreciate the streets dogs because they are God’s creation.
Today students were able to experience their formational learning on how to care and appreciate God's creation- the dogs and how God wants us to be his Earth Keepers. It was an experience that they will never forget!
Unit Title: God the Creator of weather
Unit Theme: Weather & Clothing
Unit Topic: Type of weather & clothing
Throughline: Servant working Learners follow the example of Christ’s selfless love through exercising kindness, empathy, and compassion.
FLEX: children will learn, practice following the example of Christ’s selfless love by collecting clothing that no longer fits them and they will graciously show kindness by giving it away to others that need it.
Today, students were aske to bring clothing that no longer fits them to bless others. This past week student were learning about the different types of weather and clothing. They were being taught how we can serve others with our own clothing. This is oney way to show kindness, empathy and compassion for other that are in need. We are "Servant Workers" of God.
This week, it was a week that we can never forget. We met new faces, new parents and new challenges. It is the first time these children get out of home without mommy. There were few that cried and there were the ones that came ready to adventure what is new. We can celebrate that we have 21 students for the morning session and 10 in the afternoon session.
Each child is unique and created in the image of God. We are here to build communities of grace and purpose and making space for the belonging of others as part of God's story. We are here to be grateful and playful with others at the preschool.
This is how we celebrate our children's rally with the theme for this year Hope Ignited, Hand United, Vision Renewed. We had one float depicting that our Hope is Jesus, the others as community workers and the others with the diverse cultures of Belize.
FLT: children will build community and will joyfully collaborate with each other by making a friendship, they will create a card and will be asked to bring a candy give it to someone that still cries or is sad when coming to preschool to feel the love and care of God among themselves.
Today was the day for students to create a card. Parents were infomred to bring a candy or chocolate bar. Children were able to share the card and the chocolate/candy with a classmate. Children were happy to share and when they received their one.
In the midst of the change of weather, we still had our classes. It reminding us of the time when the pandemic was here. We were able to have our class session through online using the Zoom app. Most of our students were able to connect those two days. The following day, students were saying "teacher I saw you on the phone" and I said "yes! I saw you all!" They were all joyful!
Children were able to develop appreciation of the five sense that God have gifted them.
Today, as Order Discoverers, the pre-schoolers at Redeemer were able to use their sense, they were able to see, smell, touch and best of all taste. They were able to share among themselves. They were curious to uncover the different taste each item had. We had items that were salty, sweet, bitter and sour. We all delight ourselves!
Theme: – Colour & Shapes
Beauty Creating
It will be learned about Beauty Creating by studying about colours and shapes as learners engage in beautiful work that enriches the world and reflects God’s heart for diversity, complexity, and creativity. God created the colors & shapes and children will uncover and use them to design other shapes for God’s glory.
We can celebrate that students are learning through using different colour to form a shapes. They were able to form the letter using colour sand.
Beauty Creating
Student learned about colours and shapes as learners engage in beautiful work that enriches the world and reflects God’s heart for diversity, complexity, and creativity. God created the colours & shapes. Children uncover and used the shapes and colours to design other shapes for God’s glory.
Formational Learning Task
As Beauty Creating, children created a beautiful artwork using shapes and colours and shared it to a family member. They showed how God has given them the ability to using shapes and colours for them to share God’s love!
This week, it was extra ordinary. We celebrated Friendship day with our little ones. We had our Friendship fundraising and we also had our emerging leader Presentation. It was a great presentation.
Student experience the real world even though we did not went out, I tried my best for them to learn and have fun. I dressed myself as a police officer and students had the opportunity to wear the police officer’s hat. In addition, to make it more real and fun, the next day, one of our helpers dressed herself as a soldier. Their smile made my day!
Theme: – Animals
Pets, Farm & wild/Zoo
Earth Keeping
As Earth Keepers children learned about farm animals as learners stewards locally and globally. All God has created by pursuing and practicing new ways to tend and care for His creation. God is the creator of all animals and we need to take care of them.
This week students learned about farm animals, names, baby names and sound of each one.
On June 23, 2024 Redeemer Presbyterian Preschool held its promotion celebration for students moving on to grade one.

September: Week 2
Community Builder:
This second week, children continue building community among themselves. Today, as joyful collaboration, they created the Belizean flag as one group; all of them collaborated for one task!
Today, we ended up our month of September with the theme My Preschool Center. We had our formational learning task in which we invited our parents to join their children at 10:45 for a gallery display of their artwork. Parents were encouraged to view how their child has responded in just a month and even working as groups as they build community building skills as they joyfully collaborated as a group to color an art piece. Also few reminders were given and a clip of the celebrations were shared with them. Parents seem very interested since majority were looking the display and most were present.
Image Reflecting
Children are developing appreciation of themselves. Children are learning that they are unique, special and wonderfully created in God’s image. They have their own and special name.
As God worshippers, children were guided to understand that worshipping God is about celebrating who God is, what God has done and given us especially during the celebration of Christmas. Children were instilled that the unspeakable gift given to us is Jesus Christ our Saviour (2 Cor 9:15). In joyfull collaboration children and parents joined, praised and celebrated Jesus birth in a Christmas program. Children with grateful hearts enjoyed their christmas party knowing the best way to celebrate Christmas is to believe in Jesus.

Theme: The Senses
We end the theme "The Senses" with a Sensory display.
As Order Discoverers, children were able to appreciate and identify their sense. They used it to explore, learn and be curious thinkers. The had a wonderful learning experience. God gifted them with their senses.
September 1st - 5th, 2025
Welcome to Redeemer Presbyterian Preschool! We are blessed with 28 students who bring joy and energy to our preschool community. There first days were filled with excitement and new beginning of education chapter.
Week: 22nd - 26 September 2025
In the past four weeks, preschool students have begun to build a strong sense of community. Through collaborative activities and play, they are learning essential routines that promote social skills and friendship. Guided by their teacher, the children engage in games and creative work,
fostering cooperation and communication. This supportive environment helps them feel safe and valued, allowing them to express themselves freely and build confidence as they adapt to their new educational setting.
